If you are going away, dining out or even cooking a meal at home, make your loved one feel extra special by formally inviting them to join you. Don't just send a card inviting, but have something romantic delivered to them at home or work a few days before the occasion; you can send a helium filled foil balloon, or a single red rose, or a bottle of champagne and have the invite wording put written onto the card that accompanies the gift.
